Pet+ER is Maryland's only VECCS level II certified veterinary emergency and critical care hospital. With over 30 years in the industry, we take pride in our commitment to growth and evolution in the veterinary industry. Each member of our team is an active participant in creating and upholding our core values of collaboration, inclusivity, innovation, community and deliberation. Our chosen mission is what helps set us apart in our community: to provide innovative and comprehensive emergency care for our patients, in partnership with their families and our referring veterinary community. We take our relationships and commitments very seriously since they are the heart of what builds our culture and creates our 'why'. We recognize that veterinary medicine is more than a service and more than a career; it is layers of collaboration, compassion, sacrifice and strength.
Pet+ER is looking for professionals who want to be a part of a team committed to lifelong learning and influencing change. Our doctors and employees alike have the opportunity to explore their strengths and oversee project areas of interest, developing their own growth while enhancing services. We want doctors who will celebrate their 'why', bring their skills, their passion, and their desire to be an influence.
Pet+ER is ready to continue growth by adding additional criticalists and doctors to our team. We are currently staffed with 12 full-time emergency veterinarians under the supervision of our medical director, a boarded criticalist. Our veterinarians boast a wide variety of skills and experience including strong emergency surgical skills. They are supported by a stable team of RVTs, tenured technicians and assistants, including oversight and training by our veterinary technician specialist (ECC). Both of our locations boast a strong administrative, organizational structure for optimum support and coaching on a daily basis, overseen by a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM).
By joining Pet+ER, you are joining an emergency service located in a building of collaborative specialty services including: cardiology, internal medicine, oncology, surgery, rehabilitation, radiology (Columbia, serving Towson remotely), dentistry (Towson), neurology (Towson) and ophthalmology (Towson).
